I am supposed to be cleaning out the office closet..not doing a very good job of it..it was boring.

So, I took my new fixed Sigma 105 macro out to the back patio to see what was going on in the small world...

Now that you are out of the closet I think you should stay out, great photos, I'm partial to bugs and bees so these are right up my alley.

Great shots! This is what I love about this site, lots of different subjects. i am quite new to this hobby, never know just what to shoot...come here and get lots of ideas. I'lL thank you now if I get stung today shooting the Yellow Jackets which are nesting in one of my bird houses.

Good job. It takes time and persistance, and sometimes putting yourself in slight danger of being stung, to get images such as these. Been there, done that. Ouchy.

Great shots. Haven't seen them done much better. Just way TOO close for me, personally.

Beautiful colors in both photos. Exposure and focus are right on the money.

Great timing on the bee in flight. Hard to do. I know, I've tried. Just not as successfully as you, yet.

I put the camera on a fast shutter speed and did my best to follow those bees around..they are fast...
