Sandhill Cranes...
Much appreciated everyone! Thanks so much!
To see the sandhill cranes go to Kearney, NE in March. They have approximately 500,000 at peak time migrating through there. It has to be the best time ever. To see these birds coming in to roost on the Platte River in the evening is breath taking. The noise is great. They darken the skies at sunset..just the best you can get!
I like em all #2
Fotofun, yes I've heard about those, but never saw them.
Hi Greg! and thanks!
Very nice Tracey...I have a pair that come up to run the squirrels out of the bird feeders...I haven't seen them lately...Hmmmm. :D :D :D

Thanks Shutterbug, that's funny, I didn't know they would do that! I have a pair of Motlled Ducks that come to one of my feeders, but they just co-exist with the squirrels. haha
