Fooling Around With the Canon SX60HS

So this is me fooling around today with the Canon and Photoshop CC, which I'm also studying. Geez, a lot to learn, but ya gotta start somewhere, right? I'm a little intimidated at the prospect of working with the Nikon D7200 when it arrives on Monday (hopefully in working order), but I can only imagine how much better these images might be.

Your intro topic mentioned you are getting "back into" photography. These photos and the two posted in your first topic indicate you never lost your creative eye and your understanding of the importance of light. Enjoy your new camera and just take your time learning digital processing; plenty of resources to aid your journey, including a forum dedidated to pp on UHH (see "all sections" at bottom of this page).

My favorite of this series is the dog - oh the joy! - in sparkling backlight.

Thanks so much for your words of encouragement. The dog is my favorite shot too. I live in a target rich environment here in the Channel Islands Harbor, so I can’t wait to get the new Nikon tomorrow. Stay tuned ;-)
