Howdy all-
Love this site and all the great folks using it. I enjoy taking pictures just for the fun of it. Sorry you Nikon users but I am a definite Canon user for many years. I shoot with mostly the 7D for action and wildlife and the Mark II for landscape and just fun. I also have a Rebel XSi and a VIXIA HF M300 for video when using the others for stills or just to have for fun stuff. Going to the Granddaddy of them All--Cheyenne Frontier Days--on Monday with my 4 gkids and love to photography that with my 100-400 lens. I do pictures of that mainly for my 12-year-old grandson. Just lots of fun. I just enjoy taking pictures and trying to learn all these cameras...what a challenge but fun. I have a lot to learn!

Great! Isn't it just absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite places here in Wyoming! You should come on down to Cheyenne for all of our festivities taking place over the next 9 days. We have rodeos, free pancake breakfasts, carnivals, carriage rides, lots of fun things going on!! Lots of photo opportunities. I work 4/10s so I only have this weekend and Monday which I am taking my gkids to the rodeo.

I'm headed southwest from here.
My wife & I will get up there one of these days. We want to take a photograph of the capital for our collection of state capitals.

You will love our capitol building...it is just beautiful and of course old. I work in the hospital just across from it. I have taken various pictures with Spring being great with the crab apple trees in bloom. We have the bluest skies with the most white clouds for the gold dome pictures. We are over a mile high and the sky is so blue. Hope to get some pictures next month when we have our Komen race which takes place in front of the capitol building. Great background for a great cause.

Hi fotofun. Welcome to the hog. Don't apologize, we Canon users know a good camera when we buy one. haha. I have a 60D. The two shots you posted are very nice. Love the mountains. Would like to see more.

Yep it is...love everyone that loves photography no matter what they use!! Just love getting under the skin of those who think their cameras are the best. Nikon and Canon are tops in their cameras. I have used Canon for years and love what they offer, also Minolta film cameras. I have never really persued what Nikon offers but I know they are excellent also. Nothing like starting a good argument...LOL
