Thank, Val and glad that some of your's have made their appearance! I noticed while taking the image that we have several little ones emerging and one had a little miniature bloom almost touching the ground fully opened which was no larger than one inch in diameter. The only thing that I can think of was that we had purchased several small packets last season and when opened there were virtually nothing in them that resembled seeds or bulbs , but appeared more like just a few little pieces of dried up stems or leaves but we threw them in the hole anyway and maybe that's what we are now seeing and then again, maybe not!
