Yep, those little zippies are adictive. My wife had one for years. She cried when the dealer told her it had died, no parts anywhere in this country. I had to promise her a Lexus to make her feel better. Promises, promises!

Every year approximately 100 Minis congregate in North Devon, for the charity Mini run, as you can see they decorate them, it's quite a carnival atmosphere

Looks like a lot of fun. I've never seen one like #1... beautiful! There's always an excuse for a party, isn't there?

Hello jimberton, they certainly are a great drive, only thing is the suspension is very hard so you sure do feel every bump, but hold the road amazingly well though

Never mind Shakey, I can understand your wife crying because Minis are little characters in their own right, I bet she gave it a name, anyway hope she's happy with the Lexus, cheers

Ah yes - bootiful, really bootiful !

I used to own a Wolseley Hornet, a Mini with a longer rear end that gave it a proper looking and larger boot. The front had the usual Wolseley styled grille with the illuminated badge. Inside it had oval nacelle instruments from the Cooper, seats were an improvement on the Mini been similar to the Cooper. With more sound-deadening it was a lot quieter on the road.

Ah - the glory days of British motoring .........

Yeah I loved them & wanted to own one in every colour, but I didn't quite get there. My favourite was one I refurbished, It was a Mini Cooper S, I painted it Candy Apple Red, put cute mags on it & completely renewed the interior. A thing of beauty & a joy forever.
