Thoughts please
Less water and more boat during the picture taking, or cropping, would make the picture more meaningful to me.

Or perhaps more sky, so the boat and reflection in the water are the same.
I like the composition but it would have been much better there had been lights shining in the boat or on the pier.
For any composition, you should be asking what you are intending to show. So tossing the question back at ya, what are you intending to show?
A white boat in the fog brings no impact or point of interest. As mentioned above, if the boat or dock had some lights on it or if the boat was bright red then there might be a point of interest. As it is, the photo is muted and unclear. Fog photos are very difficult to do well and almost always require some strong contrasting point of interest to make them work.
Add on the boat is off center. That creates an unbalance as you are implying a mirror image with part of he mirror missing. Don't confuse this with the Rule of Thirds as that is something completely different. People want symmetry with mirror images. Without it, the picture is incomplete in most people's minds. To me, this is more of a fault that the fog.
Remember, ask yourself what are you intending to show with your shot. Then try to show it.
I hope I've been constructive enough to help some.
I think it make a better image when viewed upside down!!!
Thanks to all for comments. Much appreciated. Warren.
Warren, first I like it. Second, I agree with others about the boat being a bit cramped at the top. But I note that the reflection does not reach the bottom of the frame. I think that if it did, that would slide the boat down in the frame enough to improve it at the top. Also, about the vignetting ... did you use a lens hood? f/5.6 should not (I don't think) produce such vignetting in your shot.
Great use of the reflection to fill in the details. IMO no changes need to be made.
It's a bit dark..but i get what you were trying to capture.
IMHO this photo should be in portrait mode as opposed to landscape. This would show the subject better, both the boat and the nice reflections. You could have reduce the fog a bit with "dehaze" if you have light room but it's a nice shot and bit of fog adds to the image.
