What started out as the sweet two tone end up as this nice red after the "crash". I kknow longer ride but that is do to me just getting tired of the cagers not paying attention.

I know what you feel Sam, my wife says I've got more replacement parts in me than a recalled Toyota! chase

Here's my scooter. I use to race these things so I've never been a HD fan. That's a sacrilege to most riders my age but I like to lay them down on the corners and you just can't do that with a HD.

I like the looks of your scoot Daisy, no frill just get-up 'n' go! chase

Is it always the car drivers fault? Just asking.

Terry, it's not always the cager's fault, but in the three times I've become a road pizza, it was their fault not mine.

Hey alf, my first 2 wheeler was a 1947 Triumph 500 cc vertical twin hardtail and I wish I still had it. Also had a Matchless G50 for a while. Cheers, chase

My last two rides....'94 Sofyail Custom (too many mods to list!) and 2008 Ultra....103" dyno tuned and lots of custom tweaks.

Yeah Dan, if you have a Harley you gotta tweak it for sure, I think I've had five of 'em and none were ever left stock.

My 2005 was also magenta, had it for 5 years then started downsizing, to a Kawasaki Vulcan 900, Honda Silverwing 600cc at same time, and now the Honda 700cc DN-01. The VTX was awesome, had an Ultimate seat for all day comfort. Never dropped it but have to admit occasionally felt a bit awkward for a petite lady, had to park carefully in order to lift off of the kickstand and couldn't back up on a slight slope very well. Handlebars were wide for me as well. Loved the torque, the sound and enjoyed having the bigger bike many times than the guys! It is a gorgeous motorcycle.

[quote=Charlie'smom]This is my latest ride. As I’ve gotten older (65) and smaller, the bikes have also gotten smaller.

Good lookin' ride that seems to fit your style. Is that a beverage holder on your handlebars? chase

Still love the bike but I'm just about 75 and this past summer had a fall unrelated to the bike that rquired surgery on my knee. The knee is still recovering and I'm now beginning to ponder how much longer I'll be riding.

Nice bike Matt, only you will know when the time is right to quit, but my advice from experience, sooner is better than too late. chase
