If I'm buying a used camera from Adorama, is it worth the $35 for the warranty? I'm typically not a warranty person, but buying used electronics, not sure if I should do go for it. The reassurance that it isn't faulty would be nice.
How much is the camera? Is it money you can afford to throw away? Adorama is a reputable company. I doubt they would sell you a piece of junk, but $35 isint much for a warranty - depends on how long and what it covers.

Don't forget that for used items rated E- E E+ & D you automatically get a 6-month warranty.
Depends, Scuff. How long is the warranty and what does it cover?? And, how much is the camera?

I didn't know that, thanks.
Well, it doesn't matter because as I was hemming and hawing about which bag to get, someone else bought the camera :( I had it partially checked out when it disappeared from my cart. Bummer. It was a Panasonic G85, D quality, for $700. Oh well. I ended up getting a 9 quality (which doesn't look like it's as good, but should still be fine) from B&H for $50 more. It'll be here Monday!!! Thanks everyone. Can't wait to get started.

What does the warranty cover?
The only warranty I ever purchased was for my first digital camera. I got "sloppy", the camera got wet, and the warranty was useless.
The Pentax K-30/50 has an issue with the aperture control which often seems to show up in the 12 months after their warranty expired.
Do a review search for New Leaf Warranty, they seem to have a trail of dissatisfied customers, maybe too good to be true?
