Has anyone had any dealings with 6th Avenue Electronics? Amazon is listing a refurbished Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 for nikon for a reasonable price? Amazon’s reviews are 99% positive.
Thanks

IF you purchase from that company through Amazon you have Amazon warranty on all transactions so your risks are limited.

If you are purchasing from that company direct... Who knows, good question.

Amazon is a reputable company to do business with.
Never heard good things about 6th Avenue Electronic from the Hogs.

Consider buying it from Sigma

You be the judge.

I bought my A6000 and lens from 6th Ave in a Black Friday one-day sale on eBay. Price was best I've ever seen anywhere. The ad clearly stated the item 'may be open box' or might include a 'white box' lens from a two lens set. I was leery, but went for it anyway. I get a brand new, unopened, Sony US Warranty, proper boxed set. Arrived in two days. No hassel. Maybe I was just lucky, but I couldn't be happier.

Used several times without problem. Some people will say never use them.

I'm looking at the new a99ii from 6th avenue. Never gotten anything from there, but it said even though it's an import they warranty it for a year. Any problems yet???

Nikon USA does not show them as being an authorized dealer. That doesn't mean they are in any way bad or dishonest but it is something to keep in mind. Any Nikon products they sell are unlikely to have come through Nikon USA.
