If I'm right and the second shot is the RAW file it needs some post processing to get it looking better. For starters, it looks a little underexposed on my screen and needs to be brightened up. RAW photos always need some work to get the most out of them.

The first photo was the RAW and was enhanced very quickly with a post processing program called AVS4YOU. It is a very simple and inexpensive way to make adjustments to your shots that may need them. The second photo was a straight out of the camera JPG.
