Who doesn't love bubble wrap? This challenge encourages creative use of this packing product (which I recently learned comes in many colors). I was amazed at the internet images depicting creative use of bubble wrap (anyone want a jacket made of bubble wrap - or maybe a bathing suit!!!???) A friend, a fine arts painter, painted a still life in which bubble wrap was one of the subjects. Can't wait to see your creations. Lots of wonderful, special things come wrapped in bubble wrap. In my following post I'll show how I made a bubble wrap filter for my camera and the resulting effect. Have fun - and blow me away with your "wrap".
Took this a couple years ago and have been fascinated by bubble wrap's potential in photography.
I have been all wrapped up in this project for a couple weeks
Don't expect bubble wrap to keep you warm in frigid weather
To make a filter you'll need the following - really simple to do. The result can be a softly diffused frame and bokeh. Works well in blocking out unwanted clutter in the frame.
Cut a hole in some bubble wrap
Attach it to your lens hood with an elastic
Adjust the lens opening as needed
And start snapping - you may need to use manual focus
Have fun
