Paul, I did edit out the photos to reduce the amount of space on the web site. Just an old habit from my work at IBM.

Paul, the photos are fantastic and up and close because of your photos. I may never get there except through your work and others that take me there. Thank you.

Thank you Greg! I've lived in Phoenix, Dallas and Austin over the years for southwest adventures. Glad you've enjoyed these later in life tours back to the area.

I have visited many ruins. They totally fascinate me. You've done a very good job photographing these.

Thank you AzPicLady! I wish I could have been closer to these. But, there's always next time and the next place... Glad you enjoyed.

Thanks for the photos - I've been to Mesa Verde but not Montezuma. I'd also recommend for even more ancient pueblos, the Tuzigoot NM west of Sedona, NM, an early stone-and-log-built apartment building. Occupied from about 800 AD and abandoned about 1400 AD.

Thank you BlueMorel! The Montezuma site is fascinating although there's not much to it beyond viewing the structure from below. Have you been to Agate House in the Petrified Forest NP?

I have pics from PF NP of ruins of a stone house community, but it is probably another site in the park, which apparently has many such sites. The stone logs would have been natural to use for building materials.
