Finally some snow in New Mexico

New Mexico has the Rocky Mountains running through it from north to south. Farmington, to the far northwest of the state is within 50 miles of Durango, Colorado, and does get snow. There are many ski resorts in New Mexico as well. As for snowing often, the mountains usually get a fair amount which is good because that's what fills the rivers and keeps the mountains green. Try googling NM Ski Resorts to see more.

Santa fe is at 7ooo feet. We do get snow, but not alot anymore like we used to.
