Nice colors. Use a graduated filter to open up shadows and add detail to the parts of the image in shadow. You will probably need 3, one for the base, 2 for each side.

Nope, I prefer it with the sidelight and shadows. I think it adds to the mood.

Lightening it up can be a strong temptation, but I like it the way it is! Strong time-of-day impression and beautiful!
