I recently got one, but haven't shot with it much yet. I'm still working on setting up the fine tune and I changed the VC to favor the viewfinder using the Tap-in Console.

I set mine to favor the image. The image in the view finder is not as important to me as the final image. I can live with a little movement in the view finder if it means my captured image is sharper over a wider range of exposures.
