My favorite user guides/books are David Busch’s. I have searched high and low for the D750 book, only to find it is out of print. Why, when that model is not old? I can find it used, online for approximately $1,000.00.
Yes, a thousand dollars!
Can anyone shed any light on this or perhaps sell me one at the usual reasonable price?

Hello. I was looking for David Busch's Nikon D750 Guide to Digital SLR Photography book also. The book is out of print. The information I have is that David is working with another publisher. The book can be purchased in pdf format at www.laserfairepress.com for $18.99 payable by PayPal or credit card.
Whenever I buy a new camera the first 'must have accessory is David Bush's guide and also the field guide he publishes. I hope this information helps you.

The D750 is a terrific camera. I paired it with a Sigma 24-70 F 2.8 Art Lens. The sharpness is incredible. The D810 is also amazibg.

I checked my goto site for older books, Abebooks.com, and listed sellers have Busch's D750 book starting at $105 and goes up from there, while the field guide starts at a shade less than $800!

Fear not. The book is not “unavailable” - David Busch has simply changed publishers.
The new publisher is selling copies for a more reasonable price.

David Busch's Nikon D750 Fast Track Guide is available at Amazon. It seems to be a pre-order but that works for me.

Great idea, except it's for the D7500, not the D750 the OP inquired about.

I have a question, I have gone through the D750 manual and it seems to cover all the bases, so how is David's Field guide or the D750 guide better?
