Gatorland has a rookery on site that has been there 40+ years, and has a boardwalk which goes within a few feet of several nests. Most nests are about 5o yards away across some water, so some of these photos are cropped from a much larger photo..

I loved your series! Excellent bird shots. Made me add Gatorland and Jacksonville Zoo to my bucket list. May I ask what month these were taken?
