Now that I just bought the Df with the WU-1A Wifi adapter. I downloaded the Wireless Mobile Utility App for my Samsung S8 and it works. However when shooting in portrait orientation I don't seem to be able to change the orientation so I can see the image in the phone the right way. Please help.

Turn the phone doesn't work. Regardless while viewing (before shooting) the phone always displays in landscape orientation. If I hold the phone vertical it would display a small image, turn the phone it display large image to fill the screen but doesn't change orientation.

I have an iPhone so can't direct you to where the setting is, but you should be able to turn-off automatic image rotation. Then turning the phone will work.

Oh I see
So it's kind of work around the app.

Perhaps you can go into the quick settings (swipe down, maybe twice) where the flashlight is. There is a setting in there to switch between portrait only, and auto rotate mode. Try it both ways. Greg.
