Night Heron

Back in Taipei for the winter and finally the rain has cleared. I dialed in my Sigma 135-400 focus adjustment and took a walk along the river. Near the end of the river walk there is an older housing complex and about 12 Night Herons have made a home there. This fella was sitting on a rock in the playground.
Also found this Moth, or maybe butterfly. Can anyone identify it.

Thanks . I have come to the conclusion that it is a Ctenuchid Moth but its thorax is yellow and the Virginia is Blue.
