How to wash your cat.

Excellent! (I would never, in my wildest dreams, attempt such a thing 😈)
Interesting. Tossing the kitty around like that in a shower/ bathtub would be cruel..
No way would I even think about giving our male cat a bath. I would be a bloody mess!

I like Steve Martin's take on it..... "I enjoyed it, my cat enjoyed it...but I did get a lot of cat hair on my tongue".
I was once asked what was the best shampoo for bathing a cat. My response: spit, preferably the cat's own.
Cats do NOT require bathing. If they have fleas, a flea preventative such as Seresto collars work quite well.
If I ever tried to wash our 15 lb. male cat I would probably be missing body parts
I've bathed my male cat a couple of times, but he's extremely mellow. Simply put towel in the sink, added water and cat and worked very quickly with lots of care to keep shampoo/water off his face. He's about 20 years old now and his coat can get really oily sometimes which leads to mats and discomfort.
Years ago a stray pregnant cat adopted us. Just before she had her litter in our garage. After a few weeks all of the kittens were full of fleas, so I got flea dip and bathed them all. If you don't think that weeks old kittens can become as mad and as strong as a bobcat you're mistaken!!
