Central Alabama sees snow about once every ten years. I hadn't flown my P3A in about two months but didn't want to miss this. It's a little long and needs editing but I just don't have time right now. We got about 3 1/2 inches. Panic mode here. Everything closed. Panic in the streets. The world was coming to an end. Filmed 12/9. Choose 1080 HD in settings for best quality.

Pretty cool video, I like the idea of a drone but am not ready to spend the money.
As to the snow, it's all about what you're accustomed to. I was in Atlanta a few decades ago when they got about an inch and they couldn't even open the gas stations!
My Yooper friends laugh at me when when I gripe about a two foot "dusting".

After two winters in Colorado the snow doesn't bother me. Ice is another story. Roads or skiing. I really hate the sound of trying to get an edge on ice. It's similar to a dentist starting his drill.

I wish I had time to edit it and do some color corrections. Maybe later.

We had about six inches maybe close to 15 years ago and even the police weren't out. I called a buddy of mine and told him to put on some warm clothes and pack a cooler of beer to go cruising around. He thought I joking until I pulled up in his driveway 20 minutes later. We had a blast.

Thanks. I was a little nervous over the lake. It's where my P2V went to a watery grave.

About 100 miles north. That's a little out of my drone's range.
