I would suggest using a little back lighting during post processing. Another suggestion would be to use a speedlight (flash) even during daytime to light up the darker areas. I shoot a lot of antique tractors at tractor shows and I use my sb600 on my D7100 to light up shady areas. It also helps to produce sharper images. Just a suggestion for future use.
Thanks for joining in. Yes, I could have done as you suggested with the speedlight but I was sightseeing, just had may camera and one lens. This picture can be lightened and used. As said previously I have processed this and very happy with my results but this is the place to see how other Hogers would process and we can see their final images, sometimes just improvements and sometimes with added features for some great composites.
