I recently purchased a new Nikon D500 along with a Tamron 150 to 600 G2 and took 2 of these pics with it, and not sure what lens and camera i was using on the other 2, as I was renting before I bought the new outfit, any thoughts or Comments?

The first was taken with an X-T2, other three with the D500.

I click on DOWNLOAD and I have an EXIF view program installed that usually allows me to to see the data at the top of your pic. I use http://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/exif-viewer/nafpfdcmppffipmhcpkbplhkoiekndck

I'm sure someone will chime in and be more specific.

FWIW, I bought a D500 a few days before Thanksgiving and had a 1st Generation Tamron 150-600. Just a couple of weeks ago, I broke down and replaced my 1st generation Tammy with the G2. Haven't had much chance to give the new combo a really good test, but so far I'm quite happy with the setup. Truth be told, I ran into some issues because I didn't take the time to read the instructions that came with the lens - figured the G2 was pretty much the same as the original. Took a few minutes to read through the instruction sheet and all was well.

Enjoy your new toys.

Sharp shots but the first 2 were in the shadow side out of necessity. I suggest using a strobe extender for bird shots putting some sun on the bottom side to justify even taking the picture. Without my strobe extender I don't take a bird picture underneath it. It even helps on side shots on over cast days with better direct light & sharpens it up a bit.

I can't say I've ever heard of a strobe extender, but think I would understand its function. And I'm sure they have varing abilities and distances to which they can travel. But har far out can they extend their light, as some of my subjects are 100 yes or so away from me
