I asked what to do about all the begging letters.
He said "Keep sending them!"

Even the winners lose. What annoys me is trying to pay for a gallon of milk in a convenience store while the guy ahead of me is buying an assortment of lottery tickets.

Looks like you turned on Caps Lock to type "YEAH" but then failed to turn it off.

We don't have to worry about this since they don't sell lottery tickets in this state. The casinos would be upset.
You notice how many famous people worth lots of $$$$ are broke. Remember Joe Louis? etc!
We had one guy in CA in the beginning who won about $1M per yr. He bought a house for his mother
quit his job & was broke 3 months later. Asked around for hand outs until his 2nd yr payment came.
Look at all the sports guys who buy big cars & homes, go bankrupt when they don't get a very fine advisor.
The LA Dodgers have someone in their organization who got $250K per year for the rest of his life.
Moved from CA to FL., & is still working, making several $100K per year. He got a pro advisor after retiring from playing.
About 30 yrs ago when CA started the lottery, a network showed how it was properly handled.
There were 3 different groups of all the #'s. Each ball was weighed. Selection of 1 of the 3 groups was random.
They changed the #'s in Oct 2015. Added more regulars & added the Power Ball, at $2 per pick.
Does any one know anything else?
Did you see that a 20yr old male won $400+Million in FL? Taking 1/2 & retiring. Wonder when some WONDER WOMEN will accuse him of ?????????
