Love your hand shot. I have a thing about family hands, and I would always do a close up of a Mother's hands buttoning up her daughter's wedding dress when I used to shoot weddings. In the many years to come, I always hoped the bride would cherish those photos of their Mother's hands. I made my brother take a photo of my hand holding my Dad's hand before my Dad passed on. And then I did the same for my brother. Once again, I love these kinds of family shots. Thanks.

I see I have missed some great posts. We got about 20" of snow in yesterday's blizzard and in some areas it had drifted to 3-4'. Coast was really battered with lots of flooding - even in Portland. Just haven't been at the computer as I am trying desperately to reclaim our pre-holiday lives! Getting there! We have a busy family but only our 2 children and 2 grandchildren are local. This post is my daughter and family. We do quite a few things together and have even traveled together. It's really fun for us.

Dad, and the boys LOVE big trucks - construction vehicles, semis, anything w wheels.
