Photography for me has been a hobby for a few years, with my recent retirement decided I will spend more time at it, I've looked at other photo sites and have always felt intimidated because I don't shoot with Nikon or Cannon this looked like a place where equipment snobbery wouldn't be an issue. Don't usually share my pics with very many people, but decided if I like them, then others might also, attached some of my favourites.

You’ve got sunsets, silhouettes, hummers and daisies. Add in kids having fun outdoors and you’ve covered many of my favorites. Beautiful pictures.

lyndyp welcome to UHH. Remember a camera is just a tool and one should not care what label is on the camera. It is obvious you have an eye for great composition of varied images.

Welcome. Great way to start the new year. Just to let you know a few little tricks here in case you haven't noticed. When you are signed in, you have a home page. I believe it has several sections listed by default (someone correct me if I'm wrong). But there are many more "specialized" sections here you can choose from. Scroll down to the bottom of the home page list and click on "All Sections." You will see a greatly expanded list of topics. You can "subscribe" to any you wish and they will then show up on your home page.
