I am coming up to retirement in Sep. 2018 and am eager to get back to my photography. I am currently using an old Epson 2200 and have had good results with it but it is getting "old" having been purchased around 2010.
I am considering an upgrade with the thought in mind of trying to market my photos at craft shows and some local artistic shops in and around the Atlanta, Ga. area.
With that in mind I am considering a new printer and I am considering the Epson P600 or the P800 and wonder if anyone has some experience with either that you might share. I am looking to print up to 13 x 19 borderless.
I shoot mainly nature & scenic photos.
Any other suggestions would be welcome as well.
Thanks- Bill

Consider the Epson Artisan 1430. I've been pleased with the results.
Bill I just purchased an Epson XP-830 which I really like. Most of my prints are 8x10 and anything as large as 13x19 I would send out. The printer is used for general office use as well as photography. Thought about getting just a photo printer but it didn’t make sense for my purposes. This printer consumes less ink than my old Printer which is a big plus. Good luck with your decision. ......George
I’m using the Epson P800 with beautiful results. It is also great with b/w. It prints up to 17 wide

I'm quite happy with the Canon PIXMA Pro-10.

Bill, I have an Epson P800, wide format (17") and I love it. I bought it used. The inks aren't cheap, but they do last for quite a while. The accuracy of color repro is terrific.
I have a p800 for a year now. Nothing but praise for it
I got a canon pro 10 last month in replace a defunct canon pixma 9500. Love the new printer.
I thought I had a printing solution with a Brother colour all in one laser to which I would eventually add an inkjet for photos. The Brother machine turned out to be the most expensive printer I've ever owned, I went through piles of toner and other materials, so it had to go.
I replaced it with an eco tank printer from Epson, the ET-4550. This is also an all in one machine and it's a bit slower than that laser was however it gets me the best of both worlds, an ability to have a general printer and a photo printer all in one box. What's even more exciting is that this one seems to be the cheapest printer I've ever owned. They give you inks by the bottle at very reasonable prices.
Since no one has mentioned it, I will. Keep your eyes out for the Canon Pro-100 with rebates. Many of us have gotten that $400 printer for $100, including free paper. Rebates like that have been running for years, but they're not universal now. Adorama has it for $125 after the rebate.

https://www.adorama.com/l/?searchinfo=canon+pixma+pro-100Purchased the 6d bundle much cheaper before Christmas. $1249 for camera, Pro-100 printer and paper. Applied for and waiting for the $350 rebate. I would like to sell the printer so the final cost of the 6d could be a real bargain. I have always gotten good deals and service from Adorama and highly recommend them. Printer could be a hard sell since it is now $149 with a $250 rebate. Much too heavy to ship. May take a stab at craigslist.
We're only 1500 miles apart. Craigslist is good.
