I need some help here, I found this old ablum at an antique store in Maryland last year. I'd like to ask everyone to send it to all their friends to see If maybe someone can recognize family names. As you can see, there are Names, dates and locations. This are all Tin Type Photos. I'm sure that even in that time period that this was an expensive book to make. Here is my Flickr site with all the pictures, please pass it around

Quite a find! Did you try Googling some of the names with ", CA"? You might get a hit, but it's unlikely. One picture has "Newport" written on the top. That could be Newport Beach, CA, or it could be Newport, RI
That looks like a good lifetime project with a possible TV Special in your future.
MOst of the book is Rhoad Island and New York

I have used Ancestry.com to find people. Se if anything turns up that matches more than one. (Use the free promo days and hurry.
I have that same type of album with my great-great and great-great-great grandparents and ancestors in it. There is even a tin-type of Abe Lincoln or a super look-alike or its a tin-type copy of an original image. Unfortunately the album is not is in as good shape as yours, the pages are all loose and the leather binding is dry, cracked, and broken due to being in an attic for so long. The index that has hand-written names but the loose pages, not in order, makes it almost worthless. An uncle years ago identified a few old family members which helped. I keep it in archival tissue and container to help preserve it as best as I can.
