Spent Christmas in Colonial Williamsburg. It was teeth cracking cold but I weathered the cold over dressed just to walk around. It was very over cast and even rained a bit on my first day. A few photos of some of the buildings.

Very nice photos!! We took a tour visiting Yorktown and enjoyed the tour immensely but when we visited Willliamsburg their parking fees discouraged us so we just rode around then left. Thanks for posting these photos!

Spent 3 days there in 2011. My favourite part of a 12-week 15,000-mile tour - much to Mrs N. surprise. I always refer back to this when I hear a whingeing Yank say "Oh, we've got nothing like back home"!
You have if you look for it, and you do it very well, but this was exceptional.

Had I been there this time of year I would have spent all day in the forge!

P.S. Not all Americans (not many in fact) I see over here are whingeing Yanks - but there's a few who go out of their way to let you know where they've come from.

Great pictures! Williamsburg is one of my favorite places to visit -- been there 4 times. I especially liked going there over Christmas break one year & seeing all the wreaths on the doors.
