Don, as you can tell from my photo, I'm a boxer fan too. Yours are beautiful! I've had seven of them over the years and am a devoted fan of the breed; wonderful dogs. Thanks for posting a picture of yours.

This is Duke, our standard poodle, just relaxing on the living room floor. Looks like he is listening for an approaching train or something.
Our granddaughter 10 years old took this photo with her phone.Coco a Labradoodle loves to fish.

More likely listening for the sound of footsteps approaching the pantry where his "cookies" are stored ... somehow he can hear that door open (and come running) even when he is nowhere near the kitchen :)

Molly, the Dachshund, is the epitome of a "lover". Gracie, despite heroic efforts, had to be euthanized a month or so ago because of a variety of quick onset ailments. She was our son's rescued boxer, and perhaps the best dog of all time.
When he brought her home my wife was waiting inside the house to collect and deal with her fear of boxers due to a near attack many years ago. I went outside to greet the new arrival and after a cursory hello she dashed inside and placed a big wet kiss on my wife - - - it was like she knew. We had 7 great years with her, not a mean bone in her body. She loved everyone and protected the grandchildren. Gracie will be greatly missed. Molly is wonderful in her own right, and does wonderfully at 12+ years of age.
