My favorite is a Great Blue Heron, taken from a boat in Lay Lake (Alabama). Canon 5DSR, f5.6 @ 1/160 shutter speed, ISO = 100, 135mm.

My best for 2017 was shot at Historic Oak Wood Park in Raleigh NC and shows the Dynamic Contrast of the D850.

I call this "Naughty or Nice?" The expression on Santa tells the story. I was testing the setting for a photo shoot I am doing today for the grandchildren of residents in the senior community I live in.

This year is my first year of really learning photography, so I have a lot of "fails". But I did like the way this one turned out. We rode this steam engine and then they let us get out and take photos while it went by. I may have posted this here before but I don't remember....
