Interesting Regis. A friend of mine was cutting her grass when a fish hit her in the head. She didn't see what kind of bird, but we have Osprey and Bald Eagles here.

The Bald Eagle has my respect for being a tough, strong bird and to remain a regal-looking bird. We have no Zoos here in north Idaho, but I have seen many Bald Eagles as
close as 100 feet and they are to be admired. The Osprey is another bird I admire.

Thank you very much, SpyderJan.

Man what a beautiful shot. I’m still trying to get a good eagle shot. Going to Klamath Falls in January
to try. 600+ eagles fly into there every year. I just got a Tamron 150-600 G2. I was hand holding it
yesterday and had a hard time getting it to auto focus at different distances. Do you have any issues
with your 800 hand holding and auto focus? I’ve had this issue quite a few times.
Thank you for your time.

The Tamron 150-600 G2 is a very good lens. If you look at my photo below showing my camera/lens/2x extender, you will see a pistol grip
attached to me lens. This is a 2 oz. plastic grip that will held give you a better focused steady shot. I always use auto-focus and have no focusing issues.
Using the pistol grip and practice will help give you a good steady focused shot. My combo weighs 7.5 lbs and I am 73, so you should be able to match my steady shots.

Thank you very much, Jerry.

Terrific. Always look for your photos. Amazed at how well you do with handheld shots using long lenses.
