How about a waterproof, one-size-fits-all lens cap? It could be coming to a store near you.

Jerry that is a great idea. i have the adjustable ND filter with a set of different size rings and one base.
That is sort of interesting. One thing that bothers me are ND's hurting your images. Don't know.
Happy Holidays, Merry Xmas.

For overall protection -- This appears to be not a bad idea at all --- I do see at least for me some potential downsides --- What to do with all the lens hoods which I like to use with my 6 lenses --- 5 of which are primes -- now changing lenses which depending upon the situation can be offen that also could be an issue
Just the same
Interesting idea

This cap appears to be air tight which IMHO will promote condensation with changes in outside temperature. Regular, plastic lens caps allow certain amount of air circulation which can prevent this from happening.

Looks like a great idea, I'll be watching for the release sometime in 2018.

Thanks for sharing.

Seems like a UV filter will do the same thing. Am I right?

I just paid 2x the price for an OEM Zeiss front lens cap. This doesn't look too bad.

Looks very cool. I wonder if we will see them on Shark Tank?
