I've been a member since Jan 2005. I've tried other sites but Flickr is still the one I like best in terms of cost, et al....
I use it all the time to share albums... Easy, works well, and a simple approach to backing up pictures.
I use it too. I have no problems.
I used to use it quite a bit to keep up with a local, library affiliated, photo club and found it useful for tracking club assignments and projects, etc. However, for some reason the library closed down the club and I haven't posted there since.
I do. One t of free storage. Can't beat that.

I have a FlickerPro account, have used it for several years, have settings to prevent downloads of my images by others, security on some albums based on family and friends, and am quite happy with what it offers.
Of course, screen grabs are still possible of the images, but nothing really can stop that.
One bad thing, no easy way to bulk download if you are using Flicker as a “backup” - the bulk downloader I tried striped out all EXIF, for me that was a bad deal, now my cloud backup is Crashplan.

I post most every day , one photo, low res, sometimes watermarked, part of the overall effort to publicize my photography.

Seems great until you try to batch down-load. Daunting, time-wasting, almost impossible in my experience. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Reminds me of “Hotel California”: “you can check in but you can’t check out.”
Flickr is a great way to share vast collections of pictures. Be aware that Craigs List will not allow links to images on Flickr.
