Your photos are always excellent in the PP that you do but this one is exceptional. What a great job you did on this one. It has to be one of your best. Perfect in my opinion. I just can't say enough I like this photo so much....Rich

Thanks Rich! I posted this one a few years ago for the same reason! Thanks for looking!

I've always liked your work Bill. I really need to learn some of those PP techniques that make your shots so unique.

Thanks so much Doc! Trust me, there is no glory without a lot of pain! Normal people give up! You have to have a love for processing to stay with it!

This puts to rest the old question - Is photography an art? Today photography is more of an art than ever before, thanks to the many Post Processing programs available. Your two shots are no different than a sculptor starting with a piece of clay and transforming it into a work of art. Your first shot was clay, and the second was art. Nice work. 👌👌👌

Goes to show that a camera is now just a single piece of the puzzle when it comes to putting together a finished image. But it also begs the next question--if obviously helps to be both, but would you rather be good at photography, or good at processing?

Thank you Smudgey! Adams said, "You don't take a photo, you make it!" If he were alive today he'd be in the Digital Darkroom! So much for the purists!

Randy, that's a great question! I agree both would be best! But which is your passion? I spend far more time processing than taking photos. I love the former and endure the later! I can get 20 images in less than 5 minutes! The fun for me is taking them as far as they can go! Processing software affords far more options than the software in your camera! A camera takes a photo of what is, processing takes it to whole other level!

I STOP TO SHOOT, I've not seen any listed since 2012! That's 4 years! You told me you taught photo classes. Are you now retired?

As I said many times before, you do some amazing work my friend. What really sticks out is that you are not using the latest camera gear yet you produce something most of us just dream about. You have a fantastic eye for composition and as Enrico Ferrari once said: It's not the car it is the driver that wins the race.

Wow! Thanks so much Mike! To have you say that means so much! You're one of the best photographers on UHH!
