Fuji GS 645 professional film camera sale

I have recently gone back to 4X5 for shooting film.

This camera was released in the early 80's. It is a bellows folding camera that features a 75mm f3.4 EBC Fujinon lens which is a 5 element copy of the Planar/Xenotar as used on the Rolleiflex. The film gate is 56X41mm 16 exposures on 120 film.

The bellows on this camera has been replaced as the original was a known defect.

Comes with the original neck strap and rare lens hood. Also comes with good working batteries ( for the light metering).

CONDITION: Cosmetically quite good - shows minor scratches to the front door and minor use markings in general. Functionally, everything is in good working order - no detractions that I am aware of.

$350, includes shipping to CONUS, PayPal preferred.

Thanks for stopping by and your consideration......Larry ....-check my feedback on ebay as imagemeister

No, I do not .... but functions have been tested - The light metering is off by 1 stop according to my tests - a simple fix in the ASA setting.

Yes, so I must amend my previous condition statement - I believe the the light metering is off by 1 stop in my testing.

Back in the day when film was the medium of photography. I very much wanted one of these cameras. The 75mm lens on this camera hit the highest marks I ever saw for any lens tested by the labs used by Popular Photography. Back then I was always watching the tests that were run and this lens performed better than Contax, Nikon, Minolta, Konica, Olympus -- the lenses that were usually considered the top lenses of the 60's and 70's. I remember seeing some of Leica's lenses tested also but did not list Leica because they have several names for their lenses and I don't know which were tested around that time. If I was still shooting any film at all, I would gladly buy your camera!

I sold a bunch of those when I worked for Fuji. (I also had a condo in Stuart.) It was a great camera, unique in its format and the lens was sharp as a tack. I think your price is very fair for this camera.

You might try and sell this on the Photorio forum. It's a full analogue forum with an active buy and sell section.

I bought this camera from Larry to satisfy my lust for a modern medium format camera for my collection. It was just as described and I am eager to run some film through it when this early winter cold snap lets up. I want to thank you, Larry, for a great purchase experience!
