Stop Internet Exployer from snooping

I think I read someplace where there is a way to block Internet Explorer from viewing my product searches. It didn’t use to bother me but anymore if I look up a product on line I start getting advertisements about that product or a similar product. Is there a way to stop IE from snooping? It’s beginning to annoy me lately. Just getting old I guess?

Thanks in advance.

Internet Explorer is a "search engine", its job is to "snoop". Now the targeted ads are something different and handled by an app/sub app. The ones that leave me going "DUH!!!" are the ones asking me to sign up for news notifications/mailing lists when the only way to get to that page is via a link in one of those notifications or to be a full fledged member of the site.
I remember one that came to me from the California State Retired Teacher's Pension site asking if I wanted to sign up for notifications on how to become a teacher.

Well Google Chrome is doing it also. Then you get A pop up try this it's to stop that from happening you can try it for free then it starts telling you that you need to purchased and if you delete it it does screw up things it say's you need updates after you delete it. That's when all kinds of $h*t happens and takes forever to delete well the upgrade part then everything is a mess try it its free lol .I can tell you just wait it out if you shut down before its done well then you loose pass words its a pain so ride it out .
