Not the first time I have posted his photograph but he is a very lively cat and it's difficult to get a shot of him because he won't stay still. This morning I managed to get a couple of snapshots while he was looking out of the window at the birds. He's beautiful and very photogenic when he stays still.

Glad that you liked him. My fascination lies in his colour, the subtle graduation from chocolate brown to pale fawn.

Yes, great looking cat. Nice photos too. I know pet photography is difficult. I have the hardest time photographing my two Dogs. The only time they seem to want to pose is when they are either resting or sleeping. Rare to be able to capture an image when they are on their feet. I've actually gotten a few descent shots of Cats that are not even mine. Likely because they freeze with distrust. Below is one old color film image scanned that I like of my long late cat K.C. from the Nineties. Note the old school strobe power supply. Since childhood I've enjoyed the cat, dog, kitten, puppy books and articles by Pet photographer Walter Chandoha.

Cats are instinctive and beautiful. Their intelligence tells them exactly where to lie down when you are reading a news paper... they see and compute what you are looking at and display their beauty over the written word.

I would contribute a photo of TaTu a hairless cat, but that would be better in the Nude Photo section. Without fur, the look is really different, indeed.

Yes, they know exactly when to try to sit on the newspaper that you happen to be reading as if to say: "I am much more important."
