Ohio-Erie Canal Replica Boat at Coshocton, OH.

A restoration boat with about 2 miles of restored canal for rides. This one is horse-drawn, while the originals were mule-drawn. Around the Civil War, Ohio's canal system rocketed it to the third largest economy in the United States. Trains and flooding ended the Canal's useful life. But the history of early infrastructure still draws the crowds....
