Guys,
I'm looking to get a new monitor and was curious about 4k monitors. Does anyone use one for photography or is that overkill as far as resolution is concerned?

Thanks for the input
Tom

Is that a 4k monitor or just a high res?
Thanks

I recently purchased a Samsung 32” WQHD LED Monitor from Amazon when my old Viewsonic bit the dust. This particular Samsung is a bit pricey, but it has
everything I need in a monitor. The large screen is really helpful while photo editing. The only caveat - it requires a hdmi cable to your pc. Check it out.

I second that on the Ben-Q monitors. I have a 27" SW2700PT and am very happy with it. It also came with a hood for blocking ambient light from the screen.
