Your comment is funny - and I do not mean in an insulting way - because the grass is always greener... I love going to Florida, because you seem to have birds that are far different and more varied than what we see here! Most of my eagle photos are taken from November to January at the Conowingo Dam, in northern Maryland along the Susquehanna River. It is not uncommon to see 60 or so of various eagle types there, in any one morning. But you have to wear your woolen undies! The River is like a funnel for wind and the temps are lower than the surrounding areas by as much as 10 degrees. Would love to see you up here, if you care to make the trip!
