Really nice work, they are all excellent 👌👌👌👌 My old stomping grounds way back in the late 50s early 60s, when the California Sound was new.

So Smudgey, I presume since you live in Arizona now, that you don't get to go surfing much any more. You had a great stomping grounds way back in the 50's & 60"s. Thanks Smudgey for the nice comments about the photos.

Terrific pictures Brent. Love the hand stand. And second last one's a classic. Good stuff mate

Thanks Paul so much. It's always great having a guy from down under like my surfing photos. You guys are the "surfing continent" kind of people to me!

It's always fun to photograph the surfers when there are good waves. Near the end of my photo session a fog bank rolled in which made it interesting.

Brent, these are great. I knew Huntington Beach was a popular beach for surfers but... #4 is crazy. It looks like I-5 between 710 and 605 at rush hour. lol

Nice series. Seems like every time I go down there the waves are not much more than a couple of feet high.

Hahahaha.....you are so right Plymouth34 about the rush hour. When the waves are good, word gets out and it becomes a little crowded. That photo is a perfect example. Thanks for saying the photos are great. I appreciate it.

Ron, you should do what I do before I go photograph the surfers...........go online and view the live surf cams. It's free! You can check the surf out anywhere in the world. If they don't have a cam, they will report in words what the surf conditions are like. Here is the link for "Surfline" that I use:

Thanks Ron for the "nice series" comment.
