Congratulations on your fisheye shot, dglawton! I think it is one of the best subjects I can remember, using that very special lens. Which building did you choose?

The barn is local Northern Illinois. Windmills was taken in South central Italy.

I have enjoyed the submissions. One of my favorites was shot at the Mammoth Geyser area in Yellowstone. I made it black and white to enhance the mood.

I don't seem to have succeeded in sending my picture properly. Again--the photos sent thus far are most enjoyable. Here is one of my favorites shot in Yellowstone Park.

Here's one from July (Oshkosh '17) that I just fixed up this morning. It's the only 2 airworthy B-29's flying together with the moon in the shot. Technically, it's not optimal because the shutter speed was too fast to get a good blur on the props, but I like the orientation and the passenger looking out of the side gunner's (?) port on "Fi-Fi." I go to the convention every couple years or so.

That's a terrific shot of two B-29 Superforts in flight, planepics! Thanks for sharing.

From film days, scanned from an old print. I still have some affection for it.

Taken with high speed black and white on a bright day--3200 speed I think but pulled a stop in developing. In other words the grain was intentional. But it's kind of a worthless scan of it in the download.

Very nice shot. I like the cropped shot the best. I often find myself getting to focused on trying to find the perfect framing or foreground and forget about the natural beauty of the scene.

This is a picture of M42 The Orion Nebula i took. I love astrophotography. This is 47 exposures each 30 seconds long ISO 1600 using a 6" Newtonian Astrograph. Total combined stack makes a 23.5 minute picture. I have others i will post at a later time
