A real live working telephone. For those of you who don't know what you are looking at, we used to use these wayyyyy back when. You lift the receiver and put money in the slot and then dial (by finger) the number you want.
When I saw this, I just had to shoot it.

2 points... it appears to be a working phone and it has one of those hangy things that we call a phone book attached to it. Very 20th century. Good find!

They are an extremely endangered species. When found they should be listed, and handled with extreme care. haha.
When you see one in the wild......make sure you tag it so we can trace their movements.
I'd be more impressed if it was a rotary dialed phone. Then you really had to work to make a call. This on a trail head somewhere?
