Don't understand.

With the clone tool there is an option to keep the source and target aligned . So every time you move the cursor to a new area the source is moved to a new area, the same distance and direction from the cursor. If you uncheck aligned every time you lift your finger from the mouse button you will automatically go back to the original source location without having to reselect it. If you are removing spots for example, every time you click the mouse each spot will be replaced by the thing.

Hi,
Abode and several other places have Elements 2018 on sale for 59.99. For that price I say go for it, I did and am loving it. Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm currently on PSE 15. To find the tool options, click on the Tool options box at the bottom of the screen. There are several boxes there, Photo bin, Tool options, Undo, Redo, Rotate, Layout and organizer. The current tool will be noted under the image. There is a box labeled Aligned, uncheck that and the clone stamp will continue using the selected image spot to fill in areas. If it is checked it aligns the fill in to match where the original selection is. If you move the curser position to the right it will select to the right of the original selection etc.
