Has anyone dealt with Roberts in Indiana?

I went on the net and they seem to have a decent reputation. However, I value your input and appreciate if you'd share your experience with me.

Yes, very good. I bought a D750 from them, and a day or tewo later, Nikon dropped the price $300. I called, and they refunded me the difference.

Major purchase two years ago.
All's well! Would buy again.
No tax from NY.

Thanks Pat,
I just got a great deal on a used Tamron 150-600 G2. Including a one year warranty!

Based on all the positive feedback from you folks I feel very confident that I will be pleased.

Three generations of photographers in my family have shopped at Roberts in Indy. They have an upstanding reputation.

Maybe for purchases they are OK. As for selling preowned equipment to them, service is much less than satisfactory. I had to follow up with them two times to get a response and when I finally did get a response two weeks later, it was much less than KEH or Cameta offered, and they totally botched the response by calling me by a name that was not mine.

Thanks RLK.
I normally deal with B&H or Adorama and always had a great turnout. However Roberts had the best deal than any of them could give me.

I live less than 20 minutes away, excellent company and they are growing, bought a new building a few years ago, so really committed.

They support the local camera clubs, and offer many free events..

Never ever had a problem, I am from the film days...

They also sell on EBay 24/7

I just bought an Olympus m1 Mark ll and lenses from them. Traded my Nikon FF gear as part of the deal. No problems at all. Would not hesitate to buy from them again.

I bought a used lens from them that was advertised as "tested". The auto focus wouldn't work and the motor made grinding sounds. They refunded my money without issue, but I have to wonder just what they "test"?

I have bought 5 lenses from them and all have worked perfectly and were in better condition than I expected. I had to return one because I just did not like it, and my money was promptly and fully returned. I will continue doing business with them.

I've bought a couple of film cameras and a number of lenses from them, both the store site, and eBay. Honest, fair, and the descriptions are spot-on.

I can tell you from very recent experience that their Used Photo Pro division is top notch! Nelson, formally of KEH, runs this group and provides the best service and pricing, whether buying or selling. Your experience does not match up with my interactions. Sorry to hear. Roberts is my go to for new purchases for the past 7 years as well.
