Needed- D850 Screen Cover

Just got my 850 so I'm totally jazzed!
The one thing it didn't come with is a viewfinder screen cover.
Any suggestions?

None available other than the plastic ones made for cell phones, which you will NOT want to put over that beautiful touch screen! The D500 and D850 both come with a factory protective glass cover on them, it can be replaced economically should they get damaged.

Are you referring to the optical viewfinder? If so, there is a little switch that closes it.

Use a phone or tablet screen cover, trim to fit before installing.

I use a vello glass protector on my D810 and it's fine. Supposedly, it preserves the touch screen function.
I also use a thin glass protector on my Samsung S8, and it too works like a charm

I have the optical glass on my Canons and the touch screen works just fine. Got mine from B&H for about $25... Vello brand IIRC. If you want to go low cost get iPad screen cover from Dollar Tree for a buck and cut your own to size. You can get 6 or so from a sheet..

You spent, how much on the camera and you need someone to tell you what screen cover to buy?? Go to B & H punch in screen cover for D850. Pick one out.
