Just wondering how do the users of the Nikon 200-500mm lens like it. I like to take wildlife, have 300mm lens would like to know how you actual users like the lens. Instead of a commercial taunting how great the lens is. thank you, Happy Thanksgiving. God Bless.

I understand that you don't want to read advertisements for the lens, but getting an unbiased opinion from testers is always a good idea. I have liked every piece of photo gear I have ever owned, and I would recommend it, but that doesn't mean there wasn't something better available.

Great lens.... Works well with the D7200 and my D500. Not too heavy and also works surprisingly well with the Nikon TC 1.4e lll .

I hand hold the 200-500 on my D500 and am very satisfied with the results! If you use this lens on a tripod Be sure to upgrade the lens foot and mounting collar with the RSS equipment for much smoother rotation of the lens.

I’m very pleased with the 200-500 Nikon, using on my D850 no regrets. The VR is awesome and like the fixed aperture.
