I wouldn't that is a wonderful photograph.

Edit: I think the first one was quite a bit better, especially compositionally. It also worked wonderfully well in black and white.

Never got to see the other one, but what I got to see tells a story that I'm still thinking about.

That we see a 'half' picture conveys a story. I am too dense to sense it, but the age veins in the hand is a tip off. Might the red shoes and gown create a yearning for days long ago.

And on closer second look the shoes are ballerinas. Might the shot be a prelude of the last pirouette.

Many ballerinas don’t make it to the top... so what becomes of them?
Their bodies are abused and mentally they are left in a lonely place..... I hope this was reflected here ...
This ballerina was not that old at all...
